About us
PANKO - Not alone.
Education can serve as the foundation for children to achieve a brighter future and for communities to thrive. This belief in the transformational power of education is what drives us here at PANKO.
When they join PANKO, the children choose to commit to the programme for at least one year. The approximatley 90 children, all from low-income families in the area of Tamale, Ghana, come to our PANKO center every day for two hours after school. They participate in activities around education, communication, and sports - laying the foundation to lead self-determined lives.
NEWS AT PANKO
PANKO had its first international volunteer! Chris Paalzow spent two weeks at the Youth Center, where he ran many football sessions with great end also connected with the wider community. It was great to have had you with us, Chris!
