About us

PANKO - Not alone.

Education can serve as the foundation for children to achieve a brighter future and for communities to thrive. This belief in the transformational power of education is what drives us here at PANKO.

When they join PANKO, the children choose to commit to the programme for at least one year. The approximatley 60 children, all from low-income families in the area of Tamale, Ghana, come to our PANKO center every day for two hours after school. They participate in activities surrounding education, communication, and sports - laying the foundation to lead self-determined lives.

NEWS AT PANKO

Thanks to the generous support from Manfred Holler, PANKO now has two water tanks! As our tap only flows for three days a week, this water storage is crucial for many of our daily activities at the center, such as cooking, drinking, washing and irrigating our garden.
