OUR TEAM IN GHANA

Mubarak Alhassan
Managing Director
Mubarak is a peace trainer and youth activist who focuses on empowering young people to help them live more fulfilled lives. He is responsible for the overall management of PANKO and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University for Development Studies (UDS), as well as other professional training certificates. In his spare time he loves reading and watching documentaries.

Fuseini Mohammed Hashim
Programme Coordinator
As Programme Coordinator Hashim implements policies and programs, oversees employees for various programs and organizes activities for the center. He is a youth activist and a trained citizen journalist. Hashim holds a degree in business administration with a major in marketing from Valley View University, Ghana. He enjoys writing and reading in his spare time.

Yakubu Fouzia
Facilitator & Care Assistant
Mrs. Fouzia is a dedicated facilitator and care assistant who manages office operations and prepares meals for beneficiary kids at the youth center. With a Certificate in Marketing from Tamale Technical University, she actively supports preschool and afterschool programs. A mother of five, she is passionate about creating a nurturing environment for children. In her free time, she enjoys singing and playing with the kids, drawing inspiration from the gift of health and security. Her dream is to see the children excel in their literacy journey.

Abdul-Latif Shahadu
Center Facilitator
Abdul-Latif is one of our facilitators who focuses on helping the children improve their literacy skills. He also takes care of the health related needs of the children. He has previously worked with St. John Ambulance and Ghana Health Service as a volunteer. Abdul-Latif holds a Highest National Diploma (HND) in Agricultural Engineering from Tamale Polytechnic, Ghana. He is a husband and father and loves caring for and engaging with children. He enjoys playing football as hobby.

Abdul-Rahaman Ayuba
Drama Club Instructor
Ayuba is a creative Drama Club Instructor with a Certificate in Electrical Engineering from Tamale Technical University. He inspires young minds through drama and skit-making, helping students discover and develop their talents. In his free time, he enjoys creating skits and listening to music, fueled by his faith and daily prayers. Ayuba dreams of nurturing talents in the PANKO Drama Club who will make a mark in the entertainment world.

Alhassan Abdulai
Sports Trainer
Alhassan is a sports enthusiast with many years of engagements in sports such as football, volleyball and handball, as well as as a manager of a female football team. He is our sports trainer, helping the kids to learn skills in the various sports, as well as to stay fit and healthy. Alhassan is dreaming to become a professional coach and enjoys volunteering for his community and engaging in communal activities.

Christiane Wimmer
Founder
Christiane met Mubarak, Ibrahim, and Gitta in 2019 and was immediately excited about their idea to found PANKO. Toghether with them, she conceptualized the specifics of the project and supports its day-to-day operations. In addition, she is in charge of fundraising. Christiane holds a Master's Degree in Business from the Technical University Berlin and used to work as a senior manager at a global IT company. A Berlin native, she now lives in Bavaria where she enjoys spending time at the lakes and mountains with her husband and two sons.

Jörg W. Hofmann
Supporter
Jörg Hofmann was born in 1956 and is the founder, CEO and majority shareholder of KiNiKi gAG. Born and mainly active in Stuttgart, he now lives in the district of Rosenheim. As a former board member of MRH Trowe Stuttgart AG and supervisory board member, shareholder and board member of sister and subsidiary companies, he has gained a great deal of experience. He has taken companies to the stock exchange and to the top of the European market and passed on his knowledge at Nürtingen University in the Business Administration course. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dog or being out in nature. His social commitment prompted him to become part of the project PANKO.

Felix Wimmer
Development Officer
Felix has been enthusiastic in supporting PANKO. He focuses on optimizing the project's operations, developing outreach and fundraising efforts, and devising the project's longer-term strategy. He holds a Master's in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge and works as a management consultant.
